Project: “Quality Improvement: Improving Accuracy of ECG Lead Placement.”- Aimed to understand how accurately the medical staff placed ECG leads on patients during any situation.- Interacted with nurses individually by conducting a pre-quiz, placement of ECG leads on a mannequin, and then explaining the importance of proper lead placement and the quality improvement project.

- Approached by the biology department and was selected to be one of the biology tutors for the year- Taught students from different education backgrounds on biology topics ranging from cellular division to basic human physiology- Customized the teaching approach to each students’ learning style- Hosted interactive review sessions that would cover the high yield topics prior to midterm exams and finals

- Selected by the chemistry department to offer one-on-one and group tutoring- Taught students from different education backgrounds on chemistry topics ranging from balancing chemistry equations to stoichiometry- Customized the teaching approach to each students’ learning style- Hosted interactive review sessions that would cover the high yield topics prior to midterm exams and finals

Project: "Functional Morphology of the Placenta in Poeciliopsis prolifica"- Conducted research to track fluorescently labeled glucose molecules from mother to embryo in P. prolifica- Partnered on a second project that focused on cross-sections of P. prolifica ovaries and developing embryos- Presented results at Summer Science Symposium at OWU in September 2017 I continued to work on the project during my senior year of my bachelors degree as an independent study.

- Assisted emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses with obtaining a detailed medical history and caring for the patients- Developed a rudimentary understanding of common pathologies, such as diverticulitis and myocardial infarctions, that would appear in the emergency department

Project: "Characterizing Spider Glue Properties by Manipulation of Large Glue Volumes"- Researched properties and composition present in Larinioides cornutus glue by developing an apparatus to remove the glue from the spider web athigh humidity- Gained a deeper understanding of different types of microscopy- Presented at Summer Science Symposium in September 2016- Presented at ACS Rubber Division Conference in October 2016

Project: "Haplotype mediated transcriptional regulation of human angiotensin type 1 receptor (hAT1R) gene"- Researched the genetic regulation of the genes involved in the RAAS system- Learned important lab techniques and processes: Microscopy, RNA Extraction, RNA to cDNA, and QRT-PCR- Presented research at Summer Science Symposium at OWU in September 2015
