Manufacturing Accountant
CurrentKey Responsibilities:Analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of manufacturing activities.Calculate and monitor production costs, including direct labor, materials, and overhead, resulting in cost-saving opportunities and process improvements for enhanced efficiency.Oversee inventory accounting, including valuations, reconciliation, and inventory turnover analysis, implementing control measures to reduce waste and optimize stock levels.Investigate and report on variances between actual and standard costs, collaborating closely with production teams to address cost discrepancies.Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing accounting processes, leading to recommendations and successful implementation of changes that enhance accuracy and efficiency.Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, while actively contributing to internal and external audit processes.Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing accounting processes, leading to recommendations and successful implementation of changes that enhance accuracy and efficiency.Lead procurement and purchasing activities, including vendor negotiations, contract management, and cost-effective sourcing of materials and supplies for manufacturing operations.Ongoing Contribution:Currently, actively applying these responsibilities to support the financial and procurement operations of Crosbe, continuously striving for process enhancements, cost optimization, and efficient supply chain management in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
