• Configuration Driven Backend & GAIA v2: Took on the challenge of accelerating developer velocity for low to medium complexity backend services, leading to the creation of GAIA v2. This version utilizes an in-house IO library created from scratch, offering codeless configuration for reactive versions of popular components (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ) enabling stateless, configuration-driven aggregation of various upstream types triggered in various ways (HTTP, Consumer, Cron). A lot of work was put into nailing the developer experience, exploring and adopting various existing tools and patterns, while maintaining the flexibility of using Java code when needed. Features an integrated wallet management system, flexible fund allocations, lifecycle actions, and smart consumption based on lead allocation. Replaced a fragmented legacy setup of separate channel-specific systems, unifying campaign management in one streamlined platform. • 🥇 InfoEdge Merit Award• Migrated existing aggregation flows to the newly developed GAIA-powered aggregator, further advancing GAIA’s evolution and marking the beginning of 99 Acres’ Kubernetes journey as the first successfully deployed service on the platform.• Managed and maintained multiple services within the anti-crawling and media systems, while mentoring two new developers in effectively working on these critical components.

Bitotsav '19, the 29th edition of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra's annual socio-cultural fest, took place from the 14th to the 17th of February, 2019, featuring 4 nights and 48 events. This app was created by the tech team for proper management of the fest, assisting both participants and organizers by acting as a medium for latest updates as well as the source of knowledge for event details like rules, timings & venues, payment status, rankings & results and much more, all dynamic and real time. Additionally, to complement the theme i.e. "Colours of Asia", the UI colors change on every start. Developed in Kotlin with Android Studio Canary as IDE and latest technologies such as AndroidX, Jetpack Architecture Components, Coroutines etc., the app featured MVVM architecture and Feature based package structure.
