I got interested in Human Resources during my graduation where I worked for 2 months in HR when I was doing my Industrial Training in Hotel Management at The Grand Hotel, Delhi which is a 5 star property. There I worked in processes like listing the candidates for interview , managing with inter-departments for the candidate after the HR round .Also handled a walk-in interview a the new property of the brand. And all the basic tasks of HR which a trainee could handle.There I realized my skills , potential and passion for work were best suited for this field so I decided to pursue my career in the field of Human Resources.To follow and achieve my goal I took admission in MBA - Strategic HR at Chandigarh University where I got various opportunities to have a exposure to corporate HR world.My first on site experience in a corporate office was with the company Ferns & Petals where I was a intern in Learning & Development.During my internship I had a great learning experience and I learned how L&D operates for an organization. After a week of training I got prepared and started training companies partners.My second on site experience was with the same company Ferns & Petals.This time I was a intern in Employee Compensation & Benefits. In this I learned the documentation process of the new employees for salary purpose.Side by side I had the chance to learn & gain the experience of onboarding employees. Except these internships I also did a remote internship with Forage which is a US based company. Learnt something new in that where our work was to analyze the data and give constructive feedback about it to our seniors. Also we were given task to create charts and graphs of our own using and analyzing the statistics of the market research.Besides all these experiences I completed some courses and got certified as an achievement.the courses are - Managing Employee Performance , Preparing to Manage Human Resources , Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding from COURSERA Human Recourse Management and Organizational Behavior from SAYLOR ACADEMY.It is less but great learning so far for me till now. From these experiences I have prepared myself for journey ahead to begin in Human Resources and grasp as much as I can to be a good and successful HR.
