The role has full accountability of the cost management process to ensure thorough cost challenge & controls, transparent cost reporting, Budgeting, Benchmarking with Competitors & value adding contract management activities. Major Achievementsa) Lead cross functional teams to claw back/stop cash losses to the extent of USD 5 mln p.a in JV & 3rd party contracts;b) Improve competitive cash position of Refinery by improving Refinery Budgeting process & holding challenging discussions at all levels of leadership;c) Drive tighter controls & process improvements through Ways of Working projects between Onshore & Offshore Teams;c) Automation of advanced reporting requirements of leadership in multiple currencies, making decision making easier with less efforts
