I am a Graduate Student from the University of Texas, at Arlington with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from R.M.D Engineering College with specialization in the field of Embedded systems. During my time as a student I had the previlage to be a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas where, I collect articles for the my Dean for the NSF grant proposal and perform Data Analysis on the NSF grant data as a part of Noyce Scholarship. During my educational period I had concentrated more on the field of embedded systems....... micro-controllers to be exact, as i was fascinated by the fact how something so small can govern over large tasks. I have worked with some of the micro-controllers and protocols like:-• Boards : ARM cortex MF4, 8051 microcontroller, AVR (ATmega 16), • Peripherals : UART, SPI, ADC, GPIO, Timers , Comparator, I2C & CAN I used these micro-controllers in developing very exciting projects like:-1)Design of Real Time Operating Systems(bare metal RTOS, free RTOS) 2) Design of Indoor IOT Network 3) Low cost LCR meter4) Indoor Navigation for Visually impaired people using Li-fi5) Propeller Display.I enjoyed my time as a student and now I am excited to work as a Product Integration and Test Engineer for Automotive BU in Qualcomm. I have always loved challenges that is put in front of me. For instance while working with my projects as a student/Engineer there were necessary times for me to work outside my comfort zone and knowledge, where I continued to learn new skills and development techniques.Yours sincerely,Aakash Mohan.
