At the age of 20 I started work at AT&T corporate offices as a business to business sales rep. I was in the state of Colorado and got the opportunity to learn sales as a young kid. Learning to speak and guide a business owner at that age was a challenge; yet the challenge is what kept me going. I grew to become the B2B regional manager after tenuous hours and showing my peers my way of being transparent with a customer, human, or even an animal around you. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. At is the point of my life, I gained my leadership skills from hands on experience. When you build something yourself it sticks around longer. Subsequent to sales and management I got into Project Management at Momentum Solar. This is where I learned the in's and outs of solar. As a project manager we have to keep knowledge of every department in the company; from sales, permitting, electrical, panel and racking materials, to building zoning. With the job and company came the duty to handle escalation. This is where I really learned the in's and out's of the solar industry. Customers being upset because of company operational issues, change orders, electrical issues, on site issues, to even customer service issues. It all touched my department. Yet, I give credit where it's due. Momentum Solar is where I got my experience of the solar industry. The human mind is exponentially growing due to its surroundings and practices. As an evolving human, I learned that the solar industry has a bad reputation to it. With an open heart to change the persona of solar, I embarked on my journey to start a 100% transparent solar company.
