In this role, I gained hands-on experience and knowledge in the process of distilling thymol, a natural compound found in thyme plants with various applications.My responsibilities included:Assisting in the setup and operation of thymol distillation equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols.Collaborating with senior team members to optimize the distillation process, focusing on efficiency and yield.Conducting quality control tests and analysis to ensure the purity and potency of the distilled thymol.Monitoring and adjusting process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates to maintain optimal distillation conditions.Maintaining detailed records of distillation runs, including process parameters, yields, and any observations or deviations.Participating in troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve any operational issues or equipment malfunctions.
