A Safety and Pharmacovigilance (PV) Coordinator at SYNEOS HEALTH responsible for coordinating and implementing pharmacovigilance activities for the organization including monitoring the safety of medications, both before and after they are approved for use by the public, as well as identifying, assessing, and understanding adverse events (side effects) associated with the medications.Some specific responsibilities include:- Reviewing and processing adverse event reports from patients, healthcare providers, and other sources.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and evaluate adverse events.- Identifying and assessing potential safety issues and trends.- Communicating safety information to internal stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities and the company's management team.- Ensuring that safety activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.- Participating in the development of safety-related documents, such as risk management plans and benefit-risk evaluations.
