Under his leadership, the engineering team expanded significantly with minimal attrition, and he played a crucial role in data science initiatives. Amit also managed the acquisition and integration of several companies, broadening Roofstock’s market presence.Before Roofstock, Amit was Chief Product Officer at Ingenio, LLC, where he oversaw the transition from an AT&T subsidiary to an independent startup. He rebuilt the IT infrastructure, implemented operational efficiencies, and achieved substantial growth in revenue. His leadership increased customer retention and diversified Ingenio’s revenue.At Ingenio Inc., later acquired by AT&T Interactive/YP.com, Amit held various leadership positions. As General Manager of the Earn Per Call business, he revitalized the unit, leading to its carve-out as an independent business. Earlier, as Executive Director of Engineering, he designed an online lead generation solution and integrated Ingenio’s products into the YP.com sales systems. He also built Ingenio's Earn Per Call and Pay Per Call products.Amit currently holds strategic advisory roles at Roofstock and Vesta Ventures, providing guidance on technology, product innovation, and investment strategies.Amit holds an Executive MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson School of Management, graduating with distinction, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, where he graduated at the top of his class.
