• Completed a 2 year research Internship where i worked under Dr. Varsha Chitnis, one of India Leading Astrophysicists• Conducted an in-depth study of the X-Ray source, specifically analyzing data for the BL Lacertae object 1ES 2344 +514, utilizing data from NASA’s NuSTAR and Swift XRT detectors.• Examined the energy spectrum within distinct ranges: 0.3 keV to 7 keV from Swift XRT, and 3 keV to 30 keV from NuSTAR FPMA and FPMB.• extensively developed a codebase in python and used existing spectral analysis tools like HEASOFT and HEASARC and fitted the combined data with a power law model, incorporating line-of-sight absorption effects.• Extracted the intrinsic source spectrum and conducted a thorough comparison with existing literature and found consistency between the intrinsic source spectrum obtained from the study and previously reported findings in scientific literature.• Presented my findings in the form of a report and seminar at a weekly Seminar at the institute

• Collaborated with a professor from the University of Guelph, Canada.• Conducted the first ever genome analysis of its kind on the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus in India• Developed novel analysis tools in R, Julia and MATLAB and used specialised tools for Phylogenetic and Phylodynamic Analysis on the genome samples.• Sources Genome data from public virology database called GISAID• Provided valuable insights into the evolution of the Omicron virus which was greatly helpful in the curbing and vaccination drives for the virus in India• Wrote an 6-page paper which was published in the International Journal for Biological Research and gave multiple presentations.• Presented virtually to multiple institutes as a guest.
