I own and operate an online streetwear clothing brand. I design and coordinate manufacturing for clothing and accessories, as well as operate our online presence and social media platforms. I communicate with manufacturers and customers daily. For social media, I create content and curate each platform's feed to fit the brand's identity, and attract customers. In my position as a barista at Krak Boba, I primarily take care of prepping ingredients to make drinks, make drinks, and interact with customers. I have had to memorize over 50 drink recipes, in order to succeed in my position, as well as learn the recipes for prep work. Our prep includes making drink components such as foams, milks, purees, tea. and boba. In addition to handling food, I performed cleaning duties every shift, as well as taking inventory, and deep cleaning. Typically, there are 2-3 employees in the store at a time, and we are responsible for handling all operations at that time. It was important that during rushes, we kept the store clean and organized while making a large volume of drinks (25+) and handling a large volume of customers at one time.

I am trained in front office tasks such as speaking with patients over the phone, making appointments, and handling documents. I quickly learned how to navigate EagleSoft dental software, which I was to use in my everyday practice. Additionally, I conversed with patients at the start of their appointments about their current dental hygiene habits and medical history, which I was to record and input notes into the dental software. In my position, I utilized medical grade chemicals and tools to sanitize instruments for doctor/assistant use. Lastly, I performed supervised dental cleanings on patients, utilizing the skills I learned i my dental assisting course and obtaining open communication with the patient in order to assure their comfort at all times.

As a barista I took care of a number of tasks to manage the store myself, or with one other coworker during a shift. I acted as a cashier, handling money and taking customer’s orders, as well as giving recommendations and assistance as needed. I also made orders, which included 50+ drinks that were to be memorized. It was necessary to complete orders in a timely manner, and to complete a volume of up to 12+ orders in one setting. Additionally, I completed cleaning tasks in order to keep the store tidy at all times. This included when making orders, in between orders, and lastly, opening and closing the store. I was to attend to customers needs at all time and make sure the customer was happy. Here, it is apparent that communication, and speaking with customers was the largest part of this position. Additionally, I worked as the cafe’s Social Media Manager. I managed their TikTok, and created on trend videos about the drinks in order to promote business. One of the videos gained over 90,000 views.
