In this role I facilitate group discussions and one-on-one sessions to assist first-year students in adjusting to the academic rigours and social dynamics of university life through shared personal experience and insights.

I was fortunate to be selected to engage in in-depth discussions on the significance of women in leadership roles and strategies to foster gender equality in various sectors. I contributed to a supportive community dedicated to amplifying women’s voices and promoting inclusivity in a political landscape.

In this capacity, I spoke at meetings with fellow board members to deliberate on strategies aimed at enhancing the overall first-year experience at Curtin University.

This role included efficient task delegation to maintain a productive workflow and foster a collaborative work environment. I created weekly staff rosters, interviewed and trained new hires, and provided ongoing training for exisiting team members to meet company standards. I also effectively managed turnover rates through ensuring high employee satisfaction.
