We achieved WCM through identifying, designing and implementing two single pick point systems, two hands-free delivery systems and 27 low cost automation gravity flow racks. The new equipment allowed for an increase of 30% (from 55% to 85%) of parts being delivered to the golden zone of the assembly line operators. • Successfully re-designed and led the implementation of all warehousing activities at Mack Engine Plant. Led the effort to replace fleet of traditional sit down forklifts with narrow aisle reach stackers to allow for an additional 150 parts to be stored without increasing overall footprint. • Prepared a strategy for consolidating three service part centers to a single site operation for Raymond Corp a leading forklift manufacturer that led to a 4.3 million reduction in manpower, 37% decrease in average cost per order and 572 line per hour improvement in picking. The client implemented 100% of the recommendations on layout, material flow, material handling equipment and storage mediums. •Working for a $25 million industrial supply company to study their inventory methodology and proposed revisions to current methodology that would reduce storage footprint, increase inventory turns, and generate potential cost savings of over $4 millions throughout their entire distribution network.
