Tutoring GSCE and A-Level pupils in Biology. My responsibilities are but not limited to.- Preparing material for class presentations.- Working with pupils at different academic stages to ensure all pupils receive personalised support.- Getting pupils to complete mandatory tasks outside of tutoring to consolidate their learning.- Apply methods like 'blended learning' and 'low stakes retrieval practice' to optimise lesson hours.- Create an interpersonal relationship with each pupil to boost their confidence in class.- Tailor lessons in accordance to different exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR etc.

Tutoring pupils ages 15-19 in GCSE and A-level Biology. My duties are the following however is not limited to. Preparing tasks, activities and compiling lessons resources. Researching different exam boards specifications and what the pupil is required to learn about. Structuring lessons and delivering the appropriate amount of content to the pupil without information overload. Using various resources like mark schemes examiner reports, pupil reports to cater my approach to teaching every individual pupil. Compose reports on pupil strengths and weaknesses and future plans.

Waiter for a family run business. Worked alongside the Waiter team. My duties in this role were but not limited to. Deal with customer complaints and queries, and act upon them accordingly. Operate specialised systems like EPOS, Just Eat, Uber Eats and Viva Wallet. For order taking and record keeping, price management and processing transactions. Take orders with precision and customer personalisation. Also, recommend dishes on the menu if the customer is uncertain. Many other general duties and daily objectives, including housekeeping, have helped me develop my self-starter skills. Providing excellent customer service in a family business has allowed me to be experienced in communication and the ability to excel under pressure. Over the +1.5 years of experience in the restaurant, I have integrated systems like EPOS and Viva Wallet, which have increased productivity by 9.05% and revenue by 33.00%. Customer attendance increased by +12.50%.Whilst working there, I’ve been able to develop many skills, like organisation, adaptability & flexibility and, most importantly, critical thinking, because every second in this environment is precious.
