Wind And Climate Data Analyst
Current• Expertise in working with NetCDF files and reanalysis datasets such as ERA5, MERRA2 and NCAR for climate and wind analysis.• Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of existing climate and wind analysis tools, integrating them into our comprehensive wind data analysis framework.• Proficient in deploying various statistical models using R and Python to analyze climate and wind data.• Iteratively building and prototyping data analysis pipelines to provide insights that willultimately lead to production deployment• Visualising and analyzing climate risk, and natural hazard datasets and understanding andpresenting the impact it has on wind farms.• Manage machine-learning approaches for optimizing scoring algorithms for identifying new wind farms• Providing guidance and support with all aspects of software design and coding across various tools and functions.• Researching and understanding new technical developments in the market.• Working with teammates to develop, test, and maintain business applications.• Any other tasks as required.
