My responsibilities encompass a range of critical functions:1) Sanitary Oversight and Compliance:• Rigorously control and monitor sanitary practices across health supply establishments, health services, environmental health, and various products and services consumed in Mexicali.• Ensure strict adherence to health protocols established by the Ministry of Health, with a particular focus on mitigating the spread of COVID-19.2) Sanitary Emergency Response Coordination:• Coordinate and lead responses to health emergencies and outbreaks in Mexicali, showcasing the ability to manage crises effectively.• Take charge of sanitary care initiatives for incoming migrant caravans, demonstrating a commitment to public health on a broader scale.3) Committee Engagement and Collaboration:• Actively participate in jurisdictional committees addressing critical issues such as infant mortality, maternal death, air quality, and water quality.4) Water Quality Monitoring:• Implement robust monitoring mechanisms to assess the quality of water for human, drinking, contact, and beach consumption, emphasizing the importance of safe water practices.5) Inter-Institutional Collaboration:• Foster strong inter-institutional relationships by working collaboratively with the Ministry of Health, COFEPRIS, municipalities, and other national and international organizations.6) Program Management and Evaluation:Manage and oversee the monitoring and evaluation activities of various programs maintained by the commission, showcasing a commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency.

The Quality of Government Institute (QoG Institute) in Gothenburg, Sweden, is an independent research agency within the Department of Political Science of the University of Gothenburg that conducts and promotes research on the causes, consequences, and nature of Good Governance and the Quality of Government (QoG), such as trustworthy, reliable, impartial, uncorrupted and competent government institutions.I collaborate in a variety of research that addresses both: • The theoretical and empirical problem of how political institutions of high quality can be created and maintained, and• The effects of Quality of Government on a number of policy areas, such as health, the environment, social policy, and poverty.Within the QoG Institute, I assisted senior researchers in the following key tasks:• Conducting literature and data search for ongoing research projects;• Helping to organize and attend meetings and conferences related to research priorities;• Coding raw data for subsequent analysis;• Preparing tables and graphs to convey during presentations;• Communicating data insights with clear write-ups and summaries;• Conducting data analysis using software tools such as Stata and Excel;• Analyzing and translating data into insightful visualizations;• Performing other duties as necessary in support of senior staff; and,• Providing other research, writing, and editing support for various reports and documents.

Following the award of 'Mexico Global: Rumbo Joven' by Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Mexican Youth Institute, SEDESOL, and ANUIES, I was assigned to the Congressional Affairs Section of the Embassy of Mexico in Washington D.C. the United States. Within the section, I worked on a detailed report addressing the wave of unaccompanied Central American migrant children that crossed through Mexico to reach the southern U.S. border. This report helped the Ministry to adopt a position regarding such a phenomenon. Likewise, some of my daily activities were:• Analysis of the legislative processes of the Congress of the United States.• Study of legislative initiatives and bill proposals that could affect Mexico's relations with the U.S. (migration, economic and security).• Review and report of hearings convened by members of the United States Congress.• Formulation of legislators' political profiles.

INAES implements part of the National Social Development Policy of Mexico, through the support and promotion of productive projects at the community level. It funds the formation of community cooperative societies in order to stimulate local entrepreneurship and self-employment. As a certified consultant, I worked as an advisor for the development and execution of social productive projects in some of the most marginalized communities in the state of Baja California, Mexico.

Innovatio Consultores S.C. is a private consulting firm located in Tijuana, Mexico. It focuses on guiding both local and state governments, as well as private companies and NGOs through the process of seeking and gathering financial contributions to develop social and innovation projects and programs. It has expertise on the Mexican National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT), the National Institute of Entrepreneurs of Mexico (INADEM) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), among other national and international donor agencies. As a fundraising consultant, I got involved in all stages of our clients' project development, from planning, and fundraising to the execution of the projects and programs. I also served as an intermediary between donor organizations and stakeholders, both in Mexico and in the United States.Some of the main activities were:• Actively counsel private companies, industry, local government agencies, and NGOs in the fundraising process of public and private funds. • Advise clients on business plans development and innovation strategies applicable to national or international funds.• Work with clients on the requirements needed for public funds, such as business models, project development, and innovations.• Manage national and international industrial buyer-suppliers database.• Maintaining communication with strategic partners to enhance our capabilities and offerings to our client.• Ensure team organization.• Attending meetings and presentations with clients and strategic partners.
