• Pioneered and created the very first Procurement Department within the company, where I was personally responsible for ensuring all the department’s vendors and suppliers where streamlined through our newly formed Dept to manage budgets and cost control more efficiently. • Negotiated the most competitive rates for our company with our vendors, helping to standardize a vendor rate card across all departments. • Quality control – standardised our supplier output by having them provided the company with mandatory reviews and progress reports for feedback.• Empowered, trained and managed a team of three other Junior Co-ordinators.• Developed an internal sycronization system that would help our Department track suppliers costs in real time to maintain cost control throughout the year. • Achieved a Procurement certification of a Shared Service Centre Master Class. • Estimated to have saved the company over AED1 Million dirhams in expenses this year just off of our newly created Procurement department. • Helped to spearhead the newly formed Outsourcing Department within the Production Department, where I was personally responsible for discovering Design & Media Agencies with strong capabilities to create our magazines at a quarter of the cost, whilst maintaining the brand quality and integrity.•Developed strong outsourcing relationships with agencies in India and Jordan, which ultimately saved us over $100,000 annually.• For this endeavor to succeed, I successfully coordinated with over 6 Departments across 2 different countries on a daily basis.• Streamlined all feedback and information flow from various departments into 1 designated department.• Developed customized procedures & protocols to maximize time and efficiency as well as increase work flow.• Increased on-time magazine closing rates by up to 20% based on my customized outsourcing plan.Role & Responsibilities • Managing over 25 outsourced magazines within the Production Department.• Working with outsourced suppliers in Dubai, India & Jordan.• Working on a CRM online system to maintain information of our current bookings with our clients• Managing and pricing special operations for Client’s according to demand.• Updating revenues, targets & allocated Ad spaces information in each magazine.• Coordinating between various Departments (Sales, Editorial, Accounts, Media Agencies, Clients & Print Presses.)• In addition to constantly looking for new suppliers and creating new contracts which were beneficial to ITP.
