Nakilat is an integral component of the supply chain of some of the largest, most advanced energy projects in the world undertaken by Qatar Petroleum, Qatargas, RasGas and their joint venture partners for the State of Qatar.Nakilat owns 54 LNG vessels, making it the largest LNG ship owner in the world.As a SAP Basis & Authorization Analyst, my responsibilities cover planning and carrying out all SAP systems administration and support activities for Nakilat as well as its joint ventures NKOM and NDSQ. These include:- Maintaining system security and integrity in order to achieve minimal unplanned downtime of Production Systems.- Ensuring the optimal working of server operations with respect to operating systems, databases and application administration as well as all related equipment such as communication, storage, backup and other peripheral devices.- Monitor day to day system problems and provide technical support.Presently at Nakilat, I am involved in administration and support of: 1. SAP ERP 6.0 2. Enterprise Portal 7.0 3. Solution Manager 4. Fiori 5. GRC Access Control - Access Risk Analysis (ARA) 10.1 6. DUET Enterprise 2.0 7. TREXI have also been actively involved in implementation and administration of Nakilat's SAP Disaster Recovery Site using Oracle Data Guard. Show less

The project went live successfully in Nov 2007 as planned.Phase 2 Implementation required the customization and integration of 4 new modules namely MM, PM, PS and IS-Oil with the existing live FI and HR modules.
