MY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:1- Review Materials/Equipment technical documents related to OHTL and U/G Power cables (Materials Data Specifications, type test reports and Final acceptance tests (FAT) and routine inspection and testing reports, as per relevant National Grid and international standards, specifications and testing requirements.2- Review U/G High voltage Power cables current rating, short circuit, induced voltage, positive/negative sequence impedance and zero sequence impedance calculations as per relevant IEC, IEEE standards using CYMCAP/ETAP software.3- Review U/G power cables route plans, trench/ Duct banks layout drawings (direct buried/ duct banks) for trefoil/flat formations, as well as sheath bonding and grounding drawings and techniques4- Review U/G power cables testing and installation procedures and techniques as per relevant National Grid/ international standards5- Review OHTL route plans as per ROW requirements mentioned in the scope of work for the particular project6- Review OHTL sag and tension calculations for Conductor & OGW/OPGW under National Grid specified weather conditions and tension constraints using PLS-Cadd / SAG10 software7- Review OHTL profile drawings, keeping in view the topographical plan ,ruling span, weight span and wind span concepts, sag and tension constraints , horizontal and vertical clearances, and ROW requirements, Tower spotting constraints, phase configuration and transposition requirements using PLS-Cadd software8- Review structure list and line hard ware requirement, warning lights, warning spheres and spacer marker requirements.

Lines.Assistant Manager Operation (Power Distribution)LAHORE ELECTRIC SUPPLY COMPANY (WAPDA)LAHORE, PAKISTAN • To prepare H.T and L.T proposals and electrical single line diagrams to facilitate existing consumers and encourage future consumers.• To provide continuous & un- interrupted supply to almost 17000 electric connections (for each sub-division) connected to the distribution network under the jurisdiction of my sub-divisions.• To ensure correct meter readings as per meter reading schedules by the meter readers for general domestic connections under tariff A-1, commercial connections under tariff A-2 (a) industrial connections under tariff B-1, Tube well connections under tariff D-1 and D-2 by the meter readers and the Line Superintendents ( feeder In-charges).
