A well established group of companies, have been in operation for more than five decades, involved in diversified operation like Textile, Power sector, Engineering, Automotive, Chemical, Retails and house furnishing with a renowned brand Molty Foam.I was responsible the business affairs of seven companies/ business units mainly comprising Foam Companies, Engineering, Chemical, Retails, Office and house furnishing. During my stay I was effectively performed the functions which includes but not limited to;• Strategic and Operation Financial Management• Implementation of Budgets and Budgetary Controls to bring the financial discipline• Forecasting and Planning of procurement of imported and local materials• Presentation of monthly financial results of all concerned entities• Established Receivable and Payable function• Stream line the reporting function from different tailor made computerize system to a well established ERP based, Oracle R 12, MIS.• Also carried out an expansion project by recommending through feasibility study and financial forecasting

This fast expanding group has six limited companies, operates billions of assets base and is engaged in manufacturing diversified range of consumer products with a country wide spread marketing network. Major concern of the group, has five manufacturing divisions.In addition to lead routine work of accounts carried out by team of over 45 people placed at head office, factory sites and 4 regional sales offices My responsibilities include:-• Analyzing, Designing and Implementation of new systems and robust controls.• Monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing systems and controls to safeguard the organization’s assets. And incorporating improvements wherever required.• Managing a financial portfolio of over Rs. 2.75 billion. And planning for timely repayments.• Negotiation, preparation and finalization of all agreements with financial institutions. Including rescheduling and improvements in covenant terms and conditions• Monitoring, negotiating and controlling the Imports & Exports matters more particularly opening and alteration in L/C, realization and negotiation of documents, custom clearance, internal and statutory external reporting to SBP under the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1947.• Preparing, monitoring and controlling budgets, forecasts and funding grids.• To provide management information required for day to day decision making.• To meet external reporting requirement.• Managing and monitoring the cash flows.• Analysis of group reporting for effective decision making eventually leading towards improvement of financial performance and risk assessment so that financial implications are worked out well before time to avoid financial surprises. • Getting new (ERP grade) softwares developed from in house IT team and ensuring timely implementation of these softwares.

• Maintained coordination relation with auditors for conducting internal, statutory and tax audits entailing conducting verification of various books of accounts to detect any possible fraud, ensuring that accounts prepared conform to accounting standards, evaluating internal control systems / procedures.• Spearheaded efforts across handling entire spectrum of functions pertaining to finance and accounts including taxation (compliance/optimization/assessments) and accounts payable/receivable; ensuring adherence to statutory compliances.• Instrumental in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Stock audit, Tax audit and bank branch Statutory Audits.• Conceptualized & implemented accounting policies/ principles and tracking systems for various functional areas while ensuring financial internal controls are in place & adhered; Monitoring of all statutory accounts and their payments in due time.• Developed and maintained healthy and cooperative working environment within organization by assisting and coordinating with others time to time to ensure smooth flow of business operations.• Reviewed the results of earlier audits, self-assessments and certification to ensure that appropriate remedial measures have been taken and all internal control measures are in place• Prepared quick, accurate financial information and reports to communicate audit findings and financial data to the clients.
