• Subject Matter Expert for the Change & Release Management process.• Responsible for the end to end Process Assurance & Improvement.-ITIL V3 & Intermediate Certified (Service Transition, Service Design, Planning, Protection & Optimization)Detailed Responsibilities Include:• Reviews all forward planned Infrastructure/Application Changes/Releases for Shell Global Functions Business Unit.• Ensures process compliance on all planned changes with respect to Implementation & backout plans, scheduling windows, test plans (pre & post implementation) & relevant change approvals etc.• Approves or denies/rejects changes for the business according to process/work instructions• Assesses the Changes for Change risk & Business Impact, coordinates/negotiates all outages required in alignment with the business, maintenance windows, critical availability periods and relevant support teams.• Chairs the CAB – Change Advisory Board meetings, ensures a thorough review of all planned changes with relevant stakeholders.• Ensures all preparations have been made for a CAB meeting, including creation of agenda (change reports), circulation/communication of change requests to be considered & participant invitation.• Resolves conflicts (if any) & uses the CAB forum efficiently for change process embedding & improvement.• Creates, Updates, Maintains Policy, Procedures and Work Instruction documents.• Tracks and Reports KPIs / Metrics and periodically reviews them for improvement.• Conducts Process training for technical staff periodically.• Creates, Updates & Maintains Policy, Procedures and Work Instruction documents timely.• Carries out the Process Manager responsibilities reporting to the Process Assurance & Improvement Manager.• Business Focal for Transition to market standards tools & processes – Migration to Service Now tool & associated process roll out• Responsible for a successful process transition (Design, Readiness, Successful go live, Maturity & Steady state)

IT Operations Monitoring (2yrs): Responsible for restoring normal service operation of User's IT infrastructure as quickly as possible and minimizing the impact on business operations and proactively reducing the number of new incidents, which shall include but not limited to the following:  Detection and recording, Initial support and classification, Prioritizing , Ownership and monitoring , Tracking and communications, Recovery and resolution  Responsible for determining the root cause of recurring incidents, and initiating the necessary actions to proactively removing the errors and maximizing the stability of IT Services, which shall include but not limited to the following:  Initiating account specific Incident/Problem management process. Handling Escalations, initiating Bridge/Conference calls and applying appropriate procedures during a high severity incident/outage etc. Communicating/updating the stakeholders regularly during an Incident until closure.Change & Release Management (4.5 yrs) Reviewing planned changes for Process compliance using compliance checklists Follows up/Escalates for non-compliance changes , approves/rejects changes Chairs the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Internal Pre CAB Meetingsparticipants, with the ability to review all planned IT Infrastructure changes. Carries out the Process Manager responsibilities for the entire Service Management process. Creates, Updates, Maintains Service Management Policy, Procedures and Work Instruction documents. Conducts Process Training to all Technical Staff involved periodically Tracks and Reports KPIs / Weekly Metrics and periodically reviews them for improvement Ownership of SLA / SLO Management, Service Delivery Management, Quality, Consistency, Defect Prevention & Process Improvement.
