Carrying out laboratory experiments to synthesize and test various edible coating formulations. Analyzing experimental data using statistical methods and software tools to draw conclusions. Collaborating with other team members, including scientists, technicians, and research assistants, to exchange ideas, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project milestones are met. Continuously staying updated with the latest research developments and regulation in the field of postharvest technologies, edible coatings, methods, and fruit preservation to inform project design and implementation. Assisting in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables. Contributing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the effectiveness and practicality of edible coatings for fruit preservation, potentially leading to patent applications or commercialization opportunities.
