I am a Computer Engineer, graduated from Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB) in 1998. At the USB I also obtained the degrees of Master in Computer Science (2004) and PhD in Computer Science (2013). I began my academic career, as a University Professor in the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FaCyT) of the Universidad de Carabobo (UC), in 1999. During this time I have held various administrative positions, the most relevant being the Coordinator of the Committee of Programming Contests (2000-2009), the Director of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) of the FaCyT-UC (2010-2012) and the Director of the Department of Computer Science of the FaCyT-UC (2012-2016). In the academic area, I have taught different subjects related to Algorithms, Programming and Languages and I have been tutor of more than 20 special undergraduate projects. In addition, I have participated in several research projects and I have published more than 15 scientific papers. Currently, I am a professor in the Department of Computer Science at FaCyT-UC, and I play the role of Coordinator of the Academic Unit of Algorithms, Programming and Languages.Since 2018 I work as Senior Software Architect at Software for Open Systems (SofOS), where I have been involved in several software development projects for poultry companies. In 2019 I was promoted to the position of Chief Technical Architect, which I hold to date.
