In light of UKRI's introduction of Narrative CVs, I conducted a feasibility study for the Sussex Library team. I compiled a report containing interviews and statistics, analysing my findings that helped the university (and the library) to create resources for PGRs and ECRs given the changing future of funding applications.

From March until December 2021, I undertook a placement (funded by CHASE) at Bloomsbury Academic as an Editorial Intern on the History list. I provided editorial and administrative support to Assistants and Editors across the Humanities and Social Sciences division. This role entailed a variety of tasks including working closely with manuscripts, soliciting endorsements for commissioned books, updating trackers and schedules in accordance with key dates, undertaking reviewer and image research, and compiling information to send manuscripts off to production. I also worked on a research project that offered a global overview of British History titles to help commission books that fulfil a lacuna in the industry. This included conducting research on possible funders for Open Access publications to diversify the list and contribute to Bloomsbury Academic’s growing OA catalogue. Additionally, I worked on Bloomsbury’s digital platforms such as the Philosophy Library and Bloomsbury Education and Childhood Studies.

The Same Page is an arts initiative that aims to foster an ever-growing community of like-minded individuals – artists, musicians, actors, and enthusiasts of visual and performance art. The objective is to offer a conceptual and practical space where creative expression and ideas can be articulated, realised and discussed. We hope to create an environment, which enables creative engagement with contemporary cultural, political and artistic debates. We envision organisation of regular events, workshops, talks, gigs and performances that initiate free discussions. The element of engagement is key to our initiative because TSP strives to be a space that is liberal, and respectful of everyone’s views and opinions. It promotes equality, freedom of speech and critical thinking in order to allow everyone to arrive onto the same page.

Worked on a Blogger Outreach Program aimed at analyzing the Indian blogosphere and prepared a report on the reasons behind the nature of the same. This was based upon a range of bloggers – from food to technology bloggers – and understanding the blogger’s perspective, scale, viability and effectiveness of the blogosphere.

The YP Foundation (TYPF) is a youth-led organization enabling young people to influence policies in the areas of gender, sexuality, health, education, arts & governance. Silhouette is a division of TYPF that creates platforms to showcase upcoming artistes and to reinvent and challenge perspectives in music and theatre.• Worked on a Silhouette project, The Open House Series, which was an innovative conversation space for young people to explore the many faces of the arts. • Handled online publicity of the project by creating and running the project blog and social media campaign.• Handled on-ground publicity and communication with partners and stakeholders.• Attended SoundBound 2010, a series of workshops on independent music in Mumbai as a representative of TYPF.• Volunteered at a Sufi Musical performance at Old Fort, Delhi - The Manganiyar Seduction, 2010.• Volunteered at Eristoff Invasion Festival 2011 and 2012 and handled the merchandise stall and the backstage management.
