I assist BME Graduate Students in academic, professional growth & development, programmatic financials, among many other areas to ensure that my students are able to focus on their research and academic progress. I coordinate program recruitment and admissions. I have also coordinated two NIH T32 grants within the department.

-Holistically coach and support diverse low income students in multiple areas of student services -Subject matter expert in Practical Nursing Program, IBEST, and Behavioral Health Services-Coach students towards successful completion of their program and employment afterwards-Collaborate closely with Pima County Workforce Development Specialists and others to support student’s success-Assist in training additional Student Services staff in HPOG role-DATA team liaison

-Advised students using the Case Management Model in the Center for Training and Development-Subject matter expert in Behavioral Health Services, Business Office, Culinary, IBEST, Medical Office, and Surgical Technology -Assisted students with Financial Aid, Veteran’s funding, WIOA/WIA, and alternative funding -Monitored and solved complex issues throughout student’s program progression -Collaboratively maintained and organized data files and reports -Improved processes increasing efficiency for students and team
