As a Web Strategist for IU University Communications and Marketing, I work with teams to build and maintain user friendly and accessible websites.In prior positions at IU UCM, I have worked as an information architect and user experience designer. I am particularly interested in how people find and consume information. My favorite part of working on websites is understanding the user, their motivations, their needs, listening to their stories and helping to design experiences that inspire them.I graduated with a Master in Information Science degree (M.I.S) with an Information Architecture Specialization. I also have a master’s degree in health promotion and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Before working in user experience, I gathered and analyzed data for social psychology research projects. I like being the person in the group who asks the hard to answer questions and considers the "nice to have" scenarios. How else do you know what's possible?
