The programme we have designed… Show more The Accounting Academy Partnership is a training partnership specialising in the delivery of Accounting Apprenticeships across the country. We aim to provide the next generation of Accounting Technicians to feed the demand for young and dynamic qualified professionals through the delivery of the highly regarded AAT qualification at levels 2, 3 & 4.We are unique in that we partner with local F.E. Colleges and so the infrastructure is already in place. The programme we have designed achieves two fundamental goals: The first goal is a young adult who is capable of immediate productivity in any organisation; with relevant and tangible Accounting skills to perform duties from the word go. We also demand maturity and professionalism and mentor the Apprentice throughout the process, explaining what is required in the workplace to create a reliable and trustworthy young employee. The second goal is a fully qualified AAT Accounting Technician in 10 months on our full time fast track programme and completion of your level 2 and 3 programmes in 14 months on our apprenticeship scheme. Our Programme would typically take 14 months as compared to a 3 year part-time model but the teaching content is 756 hours as compared to about 650 hours in a part-time approach. This extra time is spent further developing areas of the AAT programme and to make sure that we spend time on the fundamental skills, particularly manual double entry bookkeeping.
