Aaraf Adam is a Sudanese- American filmmaker, storyteller, creative director, producer, writer, model, and the founder of KanSuda: a multi-media entity that collaborates with Black artists and storytellers to uplift a diversity of African continental and diasporic Black women in different societies. KanSuda aims to represent a worldwide community of creatives committed to infusing their creative process with substance. By promoting positive change, growth, and ultimately relay the power and abilities of the Black community through artistic expression and creative [finesse]. She founded KanSuda for and by Black Pan-African women to shine through different art mediums, whether that be photography, film and videography, visual art such as murals and paintings, music, and spoken poetry.
