Co-founded Learning Spaces (Combating inequality with knowledge) in July 2020. Inequality is a problem across the globe and knowledge gap is a big contributor to it. Learning Spaces aims to bridge that gap by taking knowledge to people that do not have access to it easily.- Partnered with AID India’s Eureka initiative to augment English education for kids in rural India. 70 middle school students attended the program so far and improved reading and writing skills. Classes conducted through Zoom with kids who use their parents’ phones-Project Library launched in 450 Indian villages covering 30,000 children- Project Library organized book drive for under-funded schools in San Diego. 6 schools engaged in the project and were beneficiaries of the project.- Project Read in summer event with elementary school children of Alcott Elementary had 20 students attend it and read with us- Raised $13K partnering with Youth Circle in DC for Covid affected areas of rural India to fund one COVID care facility for one month that would help with oxygen concentrators, PPE, masks- Co-author and illustrator of "I can be" book series to be distributed to 1500 villages covering over 125,000 children in rural India

Studied response of Planaria to light and mechanical stimulus; the goal was to be able to understand the nervous system of Planaria and possibly make connections to that of the human nervous systems and their behaviors. Co-author of research paper published in Current Biology.Lead researcher on a project regarding GABA involvement in planarian regeneration and behavior. Mentored by Dr. William Kristan (UCSD) and Dr. Keller (Bishop’s Wu Tsai Chair). Conduct research with planaria to understand their nervous system and the impact of increase or decrease of GABA on it.Set up a lab at home to do the experiments.
