CurrentAs the Executive Director of Western Canada Water, I also serve as Executive Director for the Western Canada Section AWWA and the Western Canada Water Environment Association.My responsibilities include overseeing governance and guiding strategic and financial planning, as well as all administrative support for these non-profit professional organizations.Responsible for:• Training and supervision of staff and volunteers. • Administrative support to the Board of Directors and Association Committees. • Overseeing planning of Annual Conference and Exhibition. • Development of promotional material for workshops and for Conference and Exhibition.• Managing Association websites and social media channels. • Association records, acquisitions, payroll, financial reporting, human resources, IT and database management.Wizard of QuickBooks, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Access (if anyone is still using that, and to be fair, getting rusty).
