Worked with students in Korea, China, Japan, Singapore, and the United States teaching basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills to children varying ages 6-12. SEMONEMO serves as a bridge between Korea, where English is important, and the United States, where real English can be taught in the most English-like way. We provide SEMONEMO English, an online English education program designed primarily for American public education teachers, to the Korean market. It is also an opportunity for Korean students to experience "living English used in everyday life the way local students in the United States learn it."

Worked with Dr. Charles M. Fortmann at St. John's University conducting extensive research regarding optical refrigeration and its applications in freshwater acquisition through the use of chlorophyll as an optical medium. Published and competed in several research competitions with my project titled: "Elucidating Terrestrial Optical Refrigeration through Transpiration in Rhizophora mangle and Chlorophyll a Fluorescence in Low-Polarity Mediums." Within the next 30 years, it is predicted that freshwater scarcity will affect over half of the global population as a consequence of continued population growth, increasing industry, and global warming. Research has yet to develop a sustainable and accessible method of freshwater acquisition. This study investigated prospects of transpiration using twenty red mangroves (Rhizophora mangle) seedlings grown in tank conditions as well as anti-Stoke’s shift in chlorophyll a (ChlA) and sodium copper chlorophyllin (SCC) in various media to be observed for its potential in novel cooling technology. Transpired water served as a cheap and versatile alternative to conventional desalination plants and was collected using a precision medical cooling coil and a condensation trap. Absorption measurements were conducted using a commercial photovoltaic silicon photodetector displaying approximately 16% efficiency and scattering/reflection experiments were carried out with the photo-detector angled above the ChlA solution. The passive collection of transpired water may be used as a cheap alternative to desalination facilities to provide freshwater to poverty stricken regions and the development of a cooling device that uses ChlA-based optical refrigeration.
