Hortus has two key areas the first being the labour component and the second being vineyard management. We base our business on looking after the needs of our clients and adding value to their business, we do this by utilising our teams who have an enormous amount of knowledge and experience, therefore ensuring that each task is completed correctly and in a timely fashion. As a company we offer a wide range of services from the planting stage right through to harvesting, we can provide labour from one person to teams of people to help maintain the vines during the various changes of seasonal work.We have expanded our business in recent years to cater for the growing number of blocks that require management. All work is completed by our teams from spray programs to carrying out the machinery operations or labour tasks. We also supply our clients with all the necessary information to allow them to ensure their vineyard is a profitable as possible from budgets to monthly reports and we can help in negotiations with wineries if required. We began business in 2008.

We capture job data in the field via our easy to use Field App. Key features provided are job progress/cost tracking, timesheet data for payroll (piece-rate, group contract and hourly work) and real-time performance data for supervisors in the field. Tātou allows employers to spend additional time and resources on growing crops by improving the speed, accuracy and cost of administration whilst maintaining the trust of the employee.
