I have 20 years of electrical experience. I started working in high school during the summers for my father & grandfather. My grandfather started Mabank Electric (which is still in operation) in 1971. My grandfather was a Master Electrician, my father is a Master Electrician & I have been a Master Electrician since 2001. My father "fired" me when I was 18 & told me that I was going to go to college because he didn't want me to end up in construction. That didn't work....I studied Electrical Engineering for about 3 years....then got back into the electrical industry.I started back as helper electrician in 2000 for a small electrical contractor near Denton, TX. I have not looked back since. I started back in as a helper in 2000 & now I am the Chief Electrical Estimator for the current company I work for & have Masters Licenses in multiple states. I also PM certain projects, handle contract negotiations, customer relations, responsible for accounts receivables, active in general day-to-day operations & have been know to go dig a ditch if needed. We are a small-ish business, so I tend to wear multiple hats & I absolutely love what I do!
