Conformance Engineering Leader
CurrentI currently manage day to day activities in a busy inspection department. Within our department we utilise laser trackers, T Probes, Scanners, portable arms, hand tools and Cmm's. I manage a highly skilled team who are all NPL trained. Our business support the measurements of parts including detail machined parts, assemblies and jigs and fixtures, programming parts and First Article Inspection. I manage my teams holiday and sickness in-line with company policies, I also manage their performance and behaviours through the PDP process. Other day to day tasks include booking in and prioritising work, concession writing, raising minor deviations and running Cmm's. I also manage and write relevant work instructions and guides to help us work to a standardised process and ensure we keep our NADCAP approvals.
