As the Customer Energy Settlement Manager at British Gas, I ensure that the company meets its settlement obligations within the domestic gas and electricity markets. I have more than 15 years of experience in the energy retail industry, both domestic and B2B, and I have a deep knowledge of electricity and gas processes and associated industry data flows. I manage a team of 5 onshore analysts in addition to a team of almost 200 offshore agents, I recently spent 2 weeks in India with the team working on various process efficiencies. I have strong data analysis skills and I am extremely proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel. I can easily learn new software and become skilled quickly. I have experience liaising with various industry agents, customers, and brokers, and I am comfortable interacting with all levels of the organisation, from customers to directors.
