Assisting customers in searching, locating and using literature, research tools and online information

Investigating interhemispheric imbalance and non-invasive brain stimulation with respect to visual systems and stroke rehabilitation.The project contained several experiments (psychophysics, non-invasive brain stimulation, neuroimaging) requiring research design, ethical committee approval, stimulus production and trailing, recruiting and testing participants, data collection and analysis and interpretation and presentation of results.Gained experience with:- Transcranial magnetic, direct and alternating current stimulation- fMRI pre-screening and scanning - Data analysis software: Excel, SPSS, Matlab, and Brainvoyager.

As a maths tutor, my role was to aid in the learning and understanding of mathematics for groups of students aged 5 to 18. In my role as a supervisor, I managed and organised groups of up to 5 tutors. I also liaised with student’s caregivers, providing individualised progress and feedback reports.

As a Store Projects staff member and a Paint & Tiling Specialist I received training in product knowledge and placement, customer service, store operation, sales and marketing, cashier registrar operation. I also learned valuable skills in working in teams. I was also required to perform heavy lifting and operate machinery.
