Ever since taking my first Digital Systems course at my high school, I had grown an interest Electrical Engineering. My passion for this field drove me to study it at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. It was thanks to the continuous support and teaching enthusiasm from my professors, peers, and family that I was able to discover my love for hardware programming. I enjoyed solving problems through hardware description coding. Becoming a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Digital Systems had also helped me grow as an engineer and individual. I learned to keep an open mindset to how others approach problems, and that has led me to learn from my students just as much as they have from me. I pursued Electrical Engineering to solve the problems of the world with the help of others, create solutions, and improve on them to produce circuits that can make an impact. I learn something new in my field everyday, and I aspire to be a professor at the end of my career to help leave behind a legacy for future engineers especially in my region.
