With over ten years of experience in project engineering and management, I am passionate about delivering innovative and high-quality products that meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders. As the R&D Operations Manager at Inspiration Healthcare, I leverage my skills in budgeting, project support, and project planning to oversee the R&D department and ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of new product development and product enhancements. I also have a BSc with the Open University as a Open degree choosing modules on design practices and design algorithms and a HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which gives me a solid technical background and domain expertise.In my current role, I am responsible for creating a 3-year product road map, maximizing the return on investment for the corporation and R&D, reporting directly to higher level management, maintaining compliance for the R&D group, and managing a cross-functional team of engineers and designers. I have successfully transformed the R&D department from a -£80k per head to a £50k per head in six months, and have direct P&L and budget responsibility for the department and the projects. I also serve as the Project Management Office Lead, where I oversee project delivery, resource balancing, timeline adherence, and project reporting to directors.
