Profile bio

About Aaron Beh

I value a positive attitude, promoting mutual respect and a friendly working environment, working hard, and achieving results that benefit everyone. In 2006 I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in the Mandarin Chinese and Korean languages. It was at this time that I developed a passion for languages and language learning. I was awarded numerous academic excellence awards in addition to the Arts Medal as the highest achieving graduate in the bachelor's degree. In December 2011 I completed my Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) degree, and earlier this year I completed my Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PLT). As a law student I volunteered in community legal centres and worked as an e-Teacher. In these roles I was able to sharpen my interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as my skills as both a team player and an autonomous worker. I recently concluded work as a research assistant. The focus of the research project was on food standards and the liability of manufacturers for defective food products. I currently work as a tutor for the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) at Griffith University's GUMURRII Centre, where I tutor various law subjects. I have also tutored the Mandarin Chinese language in the past. I am also continuing my work as an e-Teacher.I am currently seeking opportunities to gain post admission experience. My past experience is predominantly in criminal law and administrative law. However, I am developing a keen interest in other areas of legal practice, such as the following:

Listed skills include Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, Legal Research, Legal Writing, and 32 others.
