I had the opportunity to work in a professional football media environment during a two-year internship with Boreham Wood FC.• I primarily took on the role of producing written content for the club's website and social media channels, as well as for the matchday programme.• I was also given control over the club's Twitter and Instagram accounts as I developed my skills, and I was able to gain experience with live reporting quick and accurate updates, as well as producing pre-match videos and conducting post-match interviews with manager Luke Garrard• I worked closely with the rest of the media team to create, manage and publish engaging content on the social media platforms, collaborating in order to help oversee the club's social media outlay on a matchday.
