During my time with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 28, I supervised operations that encompassed 270 team members, 55 direct reports, 13 helicopters, and a $2M budget. I served as the senior leader for personnel and assets in Naples, Italy. I also trained our staff and executed a strategic roadmap to achieve 100% operational readiness and 95% project completion.● Applied calm under pressure, comfort in ambiguity, and decisive leadership style while leading first-ever operational initiative in coordination with Naval Special Warfare Development Group (SEAL Team Six).● Ranked 1st out of nine peers while also receiving 2017 “Pilot of the Year” award in recognition for leadership abilities, fostering conducive workplace culture, and positioning team to deliver actionable results.

My time as a Director of Ops and Strategy entailed leading all aspects of combat search and rescue operations along with supply chain and logistics which included a $124M budget, 75 aircraft, and approximately 1,500 staff.● Made critical contributions towards operations Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve by demonstrating impactful leadership style and building team environment that promoted communication, collaboration, and innovation.● Conducted gap analysis to identify operational issues prior to implementing process improvements which boosted aircraft availability 15% which increased asset availability by 1.8 hours per day.

In this role, I directed and trained 112 pilots and 68 aircrew while also executing a Naval Air Training & Operating Procedures Standardization program to systematize our operations and adhere to enterprise governance. I also executed training missions to prepare our combat naval aviators for future operations.● Ranked 1st out of 40 peers by commanding officer, awarded 2013 “Pilot of the Year,” and hand-selected as two-star admiral’s representative for Naval Air Training & Operating Procedures Standardization program.
