Washington Vets to Tech (WaV2T) is a 16-week technical university program delivered by Saint Martin’s University. This program leverages college accredited courses and professional development to prepare transitioning service members, Veterans and spouses for placement into a career within the high-tech job market. • Will earn 18 credit hours and a certificate in Computer Science • Develop fundamentals of Server and Cloud Administration including configuring and troubleshooting of DNS, Active Directory, Azure AD, PowerShell, and installation and configuration of Windows Server 2019 and SQL server• Network administration training and experience in the following: Linux administration, AWS, Ansible, IPV4 addressing, Subnetting, Group Policy Objects and VPN• Design and implement advanced server infrastructure through the utilization of virtualization with Hyper-V Manager • Applying CompTIA CERTMASTER Learn in preparation to earn the CompTIA Net+ certification • Implementing Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure solutions

Serves as Emergency Care Manager in an 84 bed Combat Support Hospital (CSH); supervises and provides primary and therapeutic emergency care in a 24-hour emergency room; utilizes a team approach while providing patient centered care; provides technical guidance to subordinates in the transport of patients; trains, mentors and supervises eight subordinates; assists with the operational readiness, accountability, tracking, and maintenance of equipment valued at over $1M.

Responsible for assisting a population of 3,750 patients, serves as the supervisor for all medical inbound and outbound personnel processing; responsible for the training, morale, and welfare of six subordinates.

As the Primary Care Department Assistant Manager, was responsible for assisting a population of over 17,000 patients with access to care; utilized multiple software systems to update and maintain patient records; directly responsible for a team of five subordinates and assisted with the management of an additional 32 employees.

Served as an Emergency Care Supervisor in a 695 person Stryker Infantry Battalion, capable of worldwide deployment with a focus on the Pacific Area of Responsibility; responsible for the health, moral, welfare and training of three subordinates; responsible for the maintenance of one Stryker Medical Evacuation Vehicle and accompanying medical equipment valued at $3M.
