With a trade background in the mechanical field and 10 years of experience working in the mining industry I started Brendon Brothers Group with my brother; our aim was to provide a service that helps our customer’s with their scheduled maintenance and shutdown of their mining equipment. Understanding the industry and the requirements to maintain the availability of mobile plant has been essential. We know that whilst the equipment is down and not operating it costs companies thousands of dollars in lost production, therefore it is essential for us to provide a service that is fast and efficient and is conducted in a safe manner.The business has grow over the years through a strategy of diversifying into new areas. We offer a wide range of services today, with the aim of becoming a one stop shop for our clients.Over the years my role has changed and I’ve had to adapt to these changes as the business has grown. Today my role is the day to day management of the business where I oversee various areas from tax compliance, customer’s relations, cashflow, monthly account reviews, integrated management system review, tendering, quoting, marketing the brand and looking at new opportunity in the market to diversify and strengthen the company. We’re always looking at ways to align our standards with larger civil and mining companies. We are close to achieving an integrated management system compliant to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 4801 standards. The business currently operates in 4 key areas Plant Hire, Field Service, Labour Hire and Workshop Repairs. The success of the business today has a lot to do with the passion within the Management team and the people we employ.
