Lead Eastern Region Operations including commercial Energy Procurement team, and National Energy Engineering for Yardi Energy. He provided oversight of installations and played a critical role in project development, sales, and product development for energy management services to commercial clients.

Established Yardi Energy Eastern Division after the acquisition of Enerliance an HVAC optimization software solution. Lead the team in project development, project management, and local energy engineering. Built a team of integration engineers and was responsible for optimization project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Opened new branch location in New York. Hired all new employees for the new office location. Grew branch revenue to $12MM. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, sales, and staff development within the branch. Created partnerships with new customers and lead the branch sales effort

Managed the installation of a new energy management system in fifty-four buildings valued at over $7MM at a US Army Garrison. Worked with the government on design approvals, managed subcontractors and operations team. Reviewed and approved invoices, engineering drawings, working closely with all departments. Fostered customer relationships and worked collaboratively with all internal and external groups to effectively and efficiently meet client’s needs. Proactively monitored costs and reacted to variations quickly; monitored labor reporting system to effectively control productivity. Managed key accounts to ensure customer needs are met and to sell new projects. Sold new projects directly to customers as well as in the open bid market. New projects include traditional controls and owner direct energy projects. Some of the energy projects included financing with a payback based on the customer’s energy savings. Sold in excess of $9MM worth of projects in a two-year period. The primary focus was energy service companies.

Managed national retail software division including software development, software engineers, programming, and quality control personnel. Developed software tools used for remote site commissioning and material tracking. Developed software programming processes and procedures utilized for the deployment of a national energy management project. These processes included programming standards, platform standardization, remote commissioning, quality control, documentation, and customer service.

Managed the installation of energy management systems in over 3,000 retail banking centers across the country. Managed and provided technical support to multiple installation sub-contractors in multiple states simultaneously. Developed project management processes to streamline the installation of over 150 sites per month. These processes include material procurement, logistics, technical support, cost control, and scheduling. Created installation procedures manual and documentation for training courses for installation contractors and banking center maintenance personnel. Reviewed and approved invoices, engineering drawings, working closely with accounting and engineering departments

Responsible for reviewing mechanical drawings and sales estimates to engineer energy management projects and to create control drawings for submittals and installation. Control drawings include DDC point layout, controllers, sensors and components, the sequence of operations, network layouts, valve schedules, damper schedules, and control strategies. Managed controls retrofit of high profile 47 stories high rise building.
