Tutoring Finance students at UCCS, and helping the school become more involved in the Colorado Springs community by partnering with companies to help merge the academic and professional sides of the business world.

A team member on IFP (Integrated Financial Planning) at the Colorado Springs office. The Colorado Springs office is run by Kevin Kaveney and is a top performing office in the United States. This position performs all of the necessary case prep for Financial Representatives. This includes using Northwestern Mutual software to develop personalized modules for clients. These modules include retirement, survivor, disability, and many more. This has helped me grasp a stronger understanding of the different areas of financial services and the multiple products that can be purchased for insurance and life needs.

I was tasked at using Excel to figure out how to pull out relevant information from company data so decisions could be made to improve company performance. Some of these projects ranged from helping create data integrity by removing unnecessary information or duplicate rows, to creating cost to serve models on company customers. This internship really crossed between information technology and finance.
