Hello,My name is Aaron and currently I am employed by Purolator. I've worked for Purolator as both a dock worker and a courier for a little over three years now but am in the process of attempting a career change into the field of marketing. My experience as a courier has benefitted my organizational, planning and time management skills. Also, working throughout the pandemic with guidelines constantly changing is a good demonstration of my adaptability. As of May, 2021, I have also been enrolled in a business marketing program at Conestoga College, which I am set to complete in August of this year (2022). I have gained a variety of new skills throughout this program that are applicable in the field of marketing. These skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign, as well as basic HTML and CSS coding, and website design. My research and writing skills have also been sharpened, having had to create various reports. Before Purolator and Conestoga College, I studied Classical History at the University of Guelph, which provided me a good foundation for researching and writing. Outside of work and school I enjoy reading, running and I love to play and watch soccer. The latter two have been very beneficial in my life, as they have helped me cultivate and demonstrate commitment, determination and an ability to work well within a team - skills that are applicable within the workplace.
