About Aaron Brynteson
I am a Mechanical Engineer interested in design and analysis. My experience lies in thermal and dynamic systems, but I more than willing to enter a new field of study. I have proven to be highly adaptable with a strong desire to learn and gain a mastery of my discipline. After only 4 months in structural dynamics, I obtained the opportunity to conduct an offsite random vibration test solo. I successfully completed the test without difficulty and submitted a detailed report of my analysis. Apart from my personal experience and skills, I am also a dedicated team member and focused worker. I complete my tasks efficiently and take ownership of my responsibilities. I look for ways to improve performance and minimize the errors in all processes. While I am a focused and independent worker, I am also a relaxed and easy going individual. - Researched and implemented a new tool shadowboxing method using photography and plastic trays which cut the time and costs of the project by more than half, and helped eliminate FOD caused by excess tools and foam tool.
- Investigated the cost and effectiveness of an Ultrasonic Isopropyl Alcohol cleaning machine and recommended a replacement for an outdated and obsolete unit
- Generated new and more efficient assembly line by working with assemblers and manufactures to order tooling
- Employed manufacturing best practices which included, but are not limited to the prevention of FOD, time studies, tooling accountability, customer interaction, and business practice ethicsem

- Completed thermal analysis using ANSYS ICEPAK by constructing 3D models of components, constraining and setting boundary conditions, and using FEA and CFD analysis to generate results
- Performed lifetime thermal cycle testing on diodes in a thermal chamber using thermocouples to determine failure rate
- Analyzed large data sets by writing macros in Visual Basic to organize data and create graphs in Microsoft Excel while subsequently inserting graphs into a Microsoft Word document
- Championed 8 thermal tests using ANSYS Icepak over 4 month period Technologies Used: ANSYS Icepak, thermal chambers, ESD wristbands, thermocouples, Visual Basic, and soldering iron
