The Department of Education is running a multi-year, multi-billion dollar suite of programs to ensure all children get the best start in life and learning, following significant public commitment by the NSW Government to transform Early Childhood Education and Care in NSW. As part of the Program Management Office within the Reform directorate, I support our teams by driving best practice program and project project delivery, as well as providing strategic advice to Senior Executives to inform good decision making, prompt action and mitigate delivery and budget risks.

Under the Information Management Program, I drove the change management and communication approach across a diverse range of projects, including: • The delivery of a workflow application for Senior Executives, optimising how the Department provides advice to Ministers• Digital information management initiatives to support the organisation’s move to agile and remote working• Consolidation and upgrade of the Department’s document management systems• Implementation of a business-critical Federated Analytics Platform, allowing our collected data to tell more meaningful stories which allow DCJ to make more informed operational decisions and improve service delivery to vulnerable clients • Creation of a Data Quality Framework, Toolkit and Governance model to protect the critical information assets which are used to drive our decision making in the delivery of services to our clients

I partnered with our IT Branch to deliver a complex Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) consolidation, implementation and upgrade program for our staff. I provided direction to this program by: • Rolling out EDRMS to 600 new users through 12 separate mini-projects • Strengthening our engagement and training strategies to drive user adoption • Building a community of supported and empowered users by acting as their focal point once the project transitioned to the Business As Usual (BAU) phase • Engaging diverse stakeholders across the organisation to understand and remove the barriers preventing behavioural change

I led the program to drive effective electronic document management at Roads and Maritime in a dynamic landscape. My team, in collaboration with key areas of the business, drove the records and information management program by:- Increasing the usage and uptake of the Agency’s Electronic Document Management (EDM) system- Prioritising collaboration and access to information through the EDM in line with the organisation’s delivery model- Embedding the new Roads and Maritime culture of Activity Based Working through digitisation initiatives- Implementing training strategies to educate our user base- Establishing a Governance Framework to support knowledge sharing- Driving organisational compliance with the State Records Act
