Drawing from a depth of experience in handling, framing and installing fine artworks, I help manage the rotation of exhibitions at the Denver Art Museum. I am in charge of the small woodworking shop that produces in-house casework and I also liaison with larger exhibit companies that contract with the DAM. I manage one to four employees through the gallery turnover process. We do complete gallery renovations involving wall demolition and rebuild, integration of casework, lighting and peripherals as well as final installation of art. Our team is responsible for bring to life the visually engaging, thought provoking art exhibitions the Denver Art Museum is know nationally for. We strive for perfection and deliver every time. I work closely with the Head Preparator and the Registar Department within the museum to safely and efficiently handle artwork at the museum. The Assistant Prepator assists with the mounting and removal of artworks within temporary exhibits as well as packing and unpacking valuable works of art into travel crates utilizing museum best practices. I also coordinate and do the packing, crating and mount making necessary to safely remove and store the museum's collection in preparation for the renovation of the iconic Geo Ponti building on the museum campus.
